AUBURN, Ala.- The Auburn City Council is accepting applications to fill two vacancies on the West Pace Village Improvement District Board of Directors. One term will begin upon appointment and end Sept. 15, 2030. The other will begin Sept. 16 and end Sept. 15, 2031.

The board of directors was established to acquire, construct, install and operate public improvements and infrastructure for property within the West Pace Village Improvement District. The directors carry out the powers of the district and conduct the district's affairs and business. Members serve six-year terms, and the board meets as needed.

Those interested in serving are invited to apply online using the link at auburnal.gov/boards. Applications will be accepted until 5 p.m. on Sept. 8. The City Council will make an appointment at its Sept. 16 meeting.
